We want to ride, for a very special purpose, and see the world in a way that very few get to.  We want to invite people to share our memories, our sweat, smiles and sometimes tears, while we journey across the beautiful continent of Africa.  We have a mission to raise money for The Chaeli Campaign and are very proud to be associated with this amazing initiative, born from the golden hearts of five children.

Charlêne Dickson

Date of Birth: 30 April 1975

I am currently working as a Database Administrator for Woolworths Head Offices. During my school years, I was a very active person. My sporting activities included Swimming, Tennis, Gymnastics and Athletics. As Drum Majorette Squad leader, I led my team to the national championships 2 years in a row. I am fanatical about regular cycling training to prepare for the 22000km that I will be taking on in October.

Jérémie Dupont

Date of Birth: 1 September 1976

I am a computer programmer contracting for Woolworths Head Offices. My sporting career started in 2007 when I decided to go run the Hermanus Whales Half Marathon. Since then I have been running regularly and completing many half marathons, several full marathons and triathlons as well as 2 Argus Cycle Tours and 2 Ironman Triathlons.

Being both South African and French, I can’t think of anything more exciting than undertaking the challenge of cycling from one home country to the other.
